It uses ceramic briquettes so it holds the heat of the grill longer and as well as evenly distributes the flame across the cooking surface. It has beautiful blue lit knobs and a lights inside the grill to bbq at night. This grill does not have a rotisserie backburner

 We recommend this grill to those who do not need a backburner. The great feature of this grill is you can purchase a sear burner kit and interchange for the U burner.
